Maryam is a senior who dreams about the day she finally lives in a brick house, analyzing independent films in her candle-lit living room. She listens to music, swears no one else knows it, and gets exceptionally distraught if someone says they do, which she quickly follows with the reply of “Name three songs.” She has high hopes for the future and patiently waits for the day she can own a big skinny dalmatian and Doberman. She is excited for the new year and can’t wait till she graduates.
