As Arcadia High School’s (AHS) seniors wrapped up the last full week of their high school careers, they had the opportunity to showcase everything they had worked toward over the last four years. On May 29 after school, AHS seniors came together in the Rally Court for Senior College Chalking Day.
Music played through loudspeakers as seniors soaked up the excitement of graduation and college, celebrating their next step in education through chalk work. During this event, students formed groups with classmates and drew out the logos of the institutions they have committed to attending next year. Logos ranged from local community colleges, like Citrus College, to universities across the country, like New York University.
Students ran around with chalk-covered hands, celebrating and taking photos with friends, while the ASB Senior Council kept everyone fed, hydrated, and entertained. Students had a moment to slow down, reflect, and embrace all their hard work leading up to this moment as they collaborated with classmates on the large chalk mural and wandered around admiring others’ work.
Congrats to the Class of 2025 for making it to the end of their high school journey!
