Candlelight Vigil Held for Alessandro Realzola

Alessandro will be honored in a candlelight vigil on Wednesday, Dec. 13.

In memory of Arcadia High School senior Alessandro Realzola, there will be a candlelight vigil in the Performing Arts Center Courtyard. Candles will be provided, as well as a safe space for friends and classmates to grieve. Some of Alessandro’s close friends will speak at the event.

Thank you to everyone who has helped us during this difficult time. Our family sincerely thanks you from the bottom of our hearts and we will forever extend our gratitude to all of you. The amount of support we have received is more than we could have ever imagined and we
appreciate the kind gestures and sympathy you have shown us these past days. We will never forget the support given to us and while we can not thank each of you individually, we genuinely value all forms of support from every one of you. Words can not express our thanks but we hope this message reaches all that have helped us and once again thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

It makes us feel happy and brings comfort to know that our son and little brother Alessandro was liked by so many. Whether it was teachers, classmates, friends, or even those who did not know him personally, it truly felt that he was a special friend to all. It warms our
hearts to read all the messages his classmates left us or to hear the stories of those who have spoken to us as each of them has a special story that reminds us why we loved our son and little brother Alessandro so much. We hope you keep him in your thoughts and prayers and we ask his closest friends to cherish the best memories you had with Alessandro. This unexpected event is truthfully something that will leave a feeling of emptiness in our hearts for the rest of our lives however, your support has made this difficult time more bearable and is helping us seek recovery and closure. Thank you all again and we wish you a bright and healthy future.
