As the first week of school came to a close, Arcadia High School’s (AHS) annual Freshman Assembly took place in the Performing Arts Center on Aug. 18. Principal Angela Dillman opened up the assembly first by welcoming all the freshmen, before introducing the ASB council, the counseling department, and all the school resources. ASB then presented AHS’ various clubs, academic teams, and sports teams. In a final reminder from ASB, freshmen will soon receive emails about upcoming meetings and activities from their Link Crew leaders.
To wrap up the assembly, band members played the Arcadia alma mater. All in all, it was a great event to know what AHS has to offer!
