Valentine’s Day is an entire day dedicated to being happy and sharing that joy with those around you. No matter who you’re spending it with or if you’re doing it alone, you can still feel great on Feb. 14! On the topic of feelings, what better way to convey your emotions than with a playlist; music is the sound of feelings! Here are 10 songs to listen to to make opening your chocolate and reading cards so much better.

Taylor Swift — “Love Story”
This dates back to one of Taylor’s older albums, but it is one of the most iconic ballads of the 21st century. A heartwarming country song to the core, it resonates soundly with With a motif primarily based on the famous starstruck lovers Romeo and Juliet, and details what it truly means to fall in love in the prime years of youth.

Foo Fighters — “Everlong”
This song features strong rock elements, but is still a great song to listen to. With upbeat drums, stellar guitar chords, and heartfelt lyrics, it’s a touching piece for those who like a little spunk to their music taste.

Rihanna ft. Calvin Harris — “ We Found Love”
This song, which was written and produced by the famous DJ Calvin Harris and vocalized by the talented Rihanna, is another famous track that expresses love in its fast paced melody. It’s a good choice to dance and wiggle to, and an electrifying choice overall.
