Walmart Yodeling Kid

Over the years, we have seen many viral videos rise and fall. From the infamous “What are those” videos to the silly boy saying “Hurricane Tortilla”, the internet never ceases to amaze and entertain its users. Recently, a new video has exploded across the web: a one minute video of a child yodeling (and pretty well) in the middle of a Walmart.

The boy, named Mason Ramsey but also known as “Lil’ Hank”, has skyrocketed to fame so fast that people just can’t get enough of him. He comes from Harrisburg, Illinois, and his favorite musician is Hank Williams, hence his nickname. The original video depicts Lil Hank in an aisle at Walmart, wearing a red bow tie and tapping his boots as he sings “Lovesick Blues”. Remixes of his legendary yodeling have spread like wildfire across Youtube and other social media, and his Instagram account is approaching 2 million followers. No one really knows why the video is so entertaining, but many people state that it is just the randomness of the event that is funny. Plus, he is pretty darn good at yodeling and singing, especially for being at such a young age. In fact, he is so good that he was invited to sing on the Ellen Show, and he stunned the audience with his stellar vocals. Not just that, he performed at Coachella as well, where thousands of his fans listened to his most famous covers.

As of right now, Lil Hank is just enjoying the fame. On his Instagram page, he met Doug the Pug, a famous dog with over 3 million followers on Instagram. As he goes on to produce more music and covers for all of the internet to enjoy, we’ll be waiting to hear them, Mason.
