Hydroflask Review

Hydro Flask released its first completely-insulated bottle line-up in 2009. Its TempShield™ insulation is used in every bottle and it is a double wall, vacuum insulated technology that guards the temperature of your drink. Its thin walls make adventurers’ backpacks a little lighter while still enjoying the quality taste. All of the products are made of stainless steel, which is known for its strength and purity, preventing the drinks to leave any scent or taste. The packaging claims that this Hydro Flask water bottle could keep cold liquids cool for 24+ hours and hot beverages warm for 12+ hours.

With my own experience, Hydro Flask bottles do an amazing job of keeping beverages hot! Obviously, all insulated bottles have one mission, which is to keep the drinks hot as long as possible, but Hydro Flask surprised me with its ability to keep the water boiling hot after nine hours! One time, I poured boiling hot water into the bottle right before I went to bed. I woke up nine hours later, and when I opened the lid, the water was still steaming hot and undrinkable because of its sizzling temperature! Similarly, I often bring warm water to school during the winter to fight the freezing weather and regardless of the external temperature, the water inside is still warm after school. Not to mention, it has a stylish appearance with a matte texture that looks good and feels good in your hand! The rim of the mouth is slightly rounded off, providing more comfort to your lips. Additionally, this bottle definitely will not leak when fully closed, even if oriented upside down. Last but not least, it does not impart a metallic taste to its contents.

Even though the high price, ranging from $30 to $60, is one of the unattractive factors that holds customers back from buying the bottle, the bottle’s high quality will definitely make up for the steep price! With a high-quality bottle, you will not need to constantly replace the bottle, which, in a long-term, does pay you back!
