A popular tea brand, Molly Tea, has finally opened its newest location in Arcadia at 1130 S Baldwin Ave. Known for its fragrant teas and unique flavors, Molly Tea has become the new hot spot for people to buy drinks and hang out with friends.
Molly Tea was first founded in Shenzhen, China, in 2021. Unlike most tea brands, Molly Tea uses tea leaves freshly picked from the mountains of China. Their high-quality, fragrant tea is what draws their guests to their establishment. Furthermore, the company wanted to focus on high-quality, natural-scented flavors rather than flavors made using lesser quality tea bags. Additionally, instead of using heavy amounts of tapioca pearls, Molly Tea uses “silk boba” made from konjac, a root vegetable from Asia and a healthier alternative due to it being high in fiber and low in calories.
What really makes Molly Tea different from other tea brands includes not just their unique teas, but also their straws. The brand often gives customers a three-hole straw, allowing customers to savor the tea and enhance their sensory experience. This one-of-a-kind straw helps to evenly distribute all of the flavors of the tea, creating a fuller taste with every sip they take.
With more than 2,000 locations worldwide, the rapidly growing brand has now made its official debut in Arcadia. Seeing the popularity of the store in both the U.S. and China, their new opening has encouraged many people to come try their drinks for the first time. The store even offered gifts at no expense to the first 100 people in line and buy-one-get-one deals to all of their guests on their opening day of Jan 30th. Hundreds of people lined up outside the store, with some even waiting hours just to get a taste of Molly Tea’s distinctive drinks.
Since their rapid expansion of locations in the U.S., the tea brand has introduced countless new drinks, such as the recently added Camellia Oolong series, a special limited-edition drink for Lunar New Year. Molly Tea frequently releases seasonal drinks for a limited time every year, its constant flood of new drinks keeping customers coming back for more.

As of now, their most popular permanent flavors include their Premium Jasmine Milk Tea, Osmanthus Milk Tea, and Snowy Peach Oolong. All three of these drinks use different kinds of tea leaves, each highlighting its own unique fragrance and taste. The Premium Jasmine Milk Tea has a lighter taste, the Osmanthus Milk Tea has a more refined aroma, and the Snowy Peach Oolong has the deepest flavor. Each with their own traits, they all offer a refreshing experience catered to your liking.
My personal favorite is the Premium Jasmine Milk Tea. It’s very light and has the ideal balance of tea and milk. It’s the perfect drink for someone looking for a milk tea that is not too fragrant and not too sweet.
