Celebrating the famous mathematical constant Pi, Link Crew hosted a Pi Day event on Mar. 14 in the Rally Court during lunch. Students lined themselves up for a chance to pie their favorite teachers. The price of these plates piled with shaving cream was $1 for one “pie” and $6 for six “pies.”

There was a wide selection of teachers, from Coach Nick Wallace, Mr. David Seiler, and Ms. Flora Ung. Along with Link Crew Commissioner senior Alison Yamada who also sat in the chair, the students came up excitedly to pie them in the face. At the half hour mark, the teachers were swapped out with senior Link Crew Leaders. The seniors were pied even more than the teachers, to the point where some had shaving cream covering their entire face.

All in all, Link Crew’s event came to an end two minutes before lunch ended, with students excitedly chatting about the faces the teachers and seniors made when they had been pied.
