Brief: Career & Internship Expo

Stephanie Wang, News Editor

From Arcadia firefighters and police officers to volunteer coordinators and lifeguards, Arcadia High School (AHS) students received the opportunity to inquire about the busy lives of professionals in their community during the first-ever Career & Internship Expo at AHS on Mar. 22.

In addition to conversing with experts at each table, AHS students also filed into the Media Center to hear from a panel of STEM professionals, including a financial analyst, a researcher, and a pediatrician, about their experiences throughout college and into their careers.

Besides the numerous professionals from all around the area, also present at the Career & Internship Expo were some of AHS’ own standout organizations, including Apache News and the Arcadia Unified School District’s Digital Communications Internship program.

We hope that AHS students learned more about a variety of prospective careers at this event, and thank you to everyone who attended!
