On February 21, 2023, at approximately 3:18 p.m. Arcadia Police Department received a phone call from an unknown person stating he was at the Arcadia High School and was going to shoot people. The high school was placed on lockdown, and a systematic search of the school campus was conducted by police personnel. The search and investigation revealed no suspect was seen on campus and no students were injured. The school lockdown was then lifted, and students were released under the supervision of police personnel.
