Air, water, soil: the Earth continuously provides everything a human being needs in order to grow food and live a healthy life. Among the many beautiful planets in the solar system, Earth is the only one we know of that is capable of sustaining life, supplying us with oxygen and the major bodies of water. The Earth is the source of all living things; not only is it the home for all species of plants and animals, but also for the billions of people living on different sides of the globe.

Plants are able to thrive thanks to the earth’s natural resources. Sunlight, soil, and water are essential in keeping them alive and well in order to provide humans and animals with necessities such as food, medicine, and fuel. Aside from that, the bark of a tree supplies humans with numerous benefits from something as simple as wooden materials, to the complicated process of making paper for everyday use. In return, we breathe out carbon dioxide needed by plants to photosynthesize, allowing them to live. It genuinely is astounding how the natural processes occurring on Earth cycle in order for all living things to help keep each other alive.

The beauty of Earth’s nature is unmatched. Every day I glance up north, looking at the magnificent and unique patterns on the face of the mountains. The abstract clouds that float above them as the Sun’s ray pierces through create a brilliant image of this landscape like no other. The Earth constantly amazes me with its exquisiteness as I travel and explore various parts of it. It truly is a magical land, a spectacular piece of art.

The five major biomes on earth are one of the most incredible things to happen to nature. Each biome differs from another in terms of the climate and ecosystem. Each biome has its own unique features that only allows specific species of plants and animals to survive in such conditions. For instance, it is amazing to think about the distinction between the characteristics of a tundra and a grassland, where one has extremely low temperatures, its land completely covered in snow, while the other in grass with a warm climate all year long.

The most important substance the Earth supplies us with that no other planet is able to is the abundance of water. Approximately 70% of the Earth’s surface is covered by water in the form of seas and oceans, and 3% of the water is freshwater, one of the most vital things humans can’t live without.

The Earth we live in has given us more than enough riches to support the lives of all organisms, and its nature has made life enjoyable for each one of us. Thank you, Earth, for giving us everything we need to make life possible.
