Lately, on every Facebook or Instagram feed, there have been posts about the Golden Poppy Reserve Field. But is this the only flower field California has to offer? Whether you want to go for a fun photo spree with friends or just to appreciate nature, here are CA’s top ethereal flower fields.

1. The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch

At Carlsbad Ranch, you can expect to find the most vibrant flowers in every corner of this nearly 50-acre field. From purple, to pink, or orange, or white, this field will truly reveal the many colors that Mother Nature has to offer and with plenty to do like picnics, wagon-riding, or going through a maze.

What: Tecolote Giant Ranunculus (also is known as a Persian Buttercup or Ranunculus Asiatic)

2. Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve

Recently, Antelope Valley Reserve has been gaining lots of attention on Instagram feeds. The endless golden waves of poppies are what attracts so many people of all ages to see it for themselves. With endless hills, there can be lots of exploring as well as picture taking here!

3. Laguna Coast Wilderness Park

To see the best wildflowers, Laguna Coast Wilderness Park is the way to go. This park features a hiking trail on the hills with the view of the ocean as well. With every elevation, different types of wildflowers can be seen, making it a great trip with friends or family.

4. Point Buchon

During the spring, Point Buchon is a carpet full of fully bloomed golden poppies. Located at the seaside, this field serves as a calming place to be any time of day, allowing visitors to smell not only the sweet scent of the poppies but also view the wide stretch of the seaside.
