For all of the Swifties and die-hard Taylor Swift fans out there, Swift has just announced that she will be re-recording an expanded version of her 2008 album Fearless—which is an all-time childhood favorite. This blockbuster album was a staple, breaking through at No. 1 on many charts worldwide while earning her the prestigious Grammy Award. Given this, she will soon release 26 songs, which will also include 6 brand new songs as a bonus. Bringing the exciting news to social media, she gave her followers the inside scoop on everything you need to know for these upcoming recordings.

“I’ve spoken a lot about why I’m remaking my first six albums, but the way I’ve chosen to do this will hopefully help illuminate where I’m coming from. Artists should own their own work for so many reasons, but the most screamingly obvious one is that the artist is the only one who really knows that body of work. For example, only I know which songs I wrote that almost made the Fearless album. Songs I absolutely adored, but were held back for different reasons,” she wrote. “I’ve decided I want you to have the whole story, see the entire vivid picture, and let you into the entire dreamscape that is my Fearless album…. Written when I was between the ages of 16 and 18, these were the ones it killed me to leave behind.”

Making this news even more anticipated, many have even noticed some hidden clues and “Easter eggs” to her post. The most obvious hint was the strange capitalization that was found randomly scattered throughout her note—which happened to spell out “April 9th.” This also translates to “4/9” which added together equals 13—also known as her lucky number! Due to this, fans have made the theory that this hint might be the official release date for this album which is “full of magic and curiosity, the bliss and devastation of youth,” as Swift wrote.

Not only that, suspicion has risen based on the new album cover posted—which happens to have a striking resemblance to the original. A flashback from Swift’s long locks of hair, and a similar piece of clothing was noted by numerous fans. The top worn seems to have a similar look to the shirt that Justin Faston wore when he played the Romeo character in Swift’s “Love Story” music video.

With this, Twitter user @ksjincore tweeted that this might suggest that “she no longer needs a knight in shining armor, because she is her own knight in shining armor.”

Already, Swift has dropped her hit, “Love Story” which as expected, has her audience freaking out and jamming out in their rooms nonstop. Just from this release, everyone is now more anxious than ever and fully prepared to see what Swift has in store for us this time!
