The horns were honking and the tears were flowing as more than 60 cars lined the streets to say one last farewell to a local Arcadia educator who is retiring after 30 years in public education.
Jeff Hunter felt the love today as he retires from Dana Middle School in Arcadia after serving 20 years as the school’s assistant principal.
The street was packed with cars full of teachers, students, parents, friends, and family who expressed their love and gratitude.
Today the school’s PTA also awarded him with the Outstanding Administrator Award.
Before becoming an assistant principal, Mr. Hunter was an English teacher and also coached swimming and water polo. Congratulations Mr. Hunter.
