Winning the CIF-SS State Championship last season, AHS’ Varsity Tennis Team defeated Westlake High School in a home game with a score of 10-8 on Oct. 1. Every player each had their own struggles and victories, as Westlake was a very tough team. Players demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship and everyone had a chance to participate in competitive matches. With an incredible record of 6-0 in the Pacific League and ranking 10th in Division 1, our Lady Apaches will be playing another home game against Hoover next Tues., Oct. 8 at 3:30pm.
