Comfiest Things to Wear

Caitlin Wang, Staff Writer

Comfort is essential for most people. A good, comfortable outfit can make any day better. Even wearing comfortable clothes on a daily basis at home can make anyone more motivated to get cleaning or work done. Here’s are some examples of comfortable clothing you need to buy for 2018.

  1. Fleece-Lined Leggings: Lately, velvet-like blankets and coats have become very popular. Not only are they soft, but they can also keep you warm. Usually, the outside of clothing has the soft material, not the inside. But, there is one brand of leggings that are sold with a soft lining. These leggings are similar and just as comforting as fleece, but are actually faux fur. It’s like wearing a teddy bear or kitten on your legs.
  2. Basic T-Shirts: Graphic tees are seen everywhere nowadays. Even Gucci ones. When it comes to being fully comfortable and at peace, you don’t have to worry about a thing. So getting a $5 basic t-shirt from somewhere like Old Navy would be a smart choice. Take a plain black short-sleeve, cotton shirt. It is cheap and won’t get dirty easily. You tie the end of the tee in a knot or you can pair it with a cute windbreaker and some nice jewelry.
  3. The Perfect Beanie: There are so many lazy days in our lives when we don’t feel like doing our hair because it’s oily or uncooperative. Throwing on a non-itchy and unrestricting beanie is an amazing alternative. Surprisingly, it actually looks really good. It keeps your ears warm and, depending on the material, it feels very light.
  4. Fuzzy Slippers: Fuzzy socks are very popular during the winter, but I think fuzzy slippers are actually more comfortable, if you get the right ones with the softest material. I actually have a pair of fuzzy slippers from UGG and as it may already sound, they are heavenly. It’s like walking on pillows. Most of these slippers are around $20, which is an amazing investment.
  5. Unicorn Onesies: Every year, at a least of few people dress up in a onesie as some sort of cartoon character. The unicorn ones are especially popular. I don’t blame anyone who has done this, who would? Depending on the one you get, these onesies shouldn’t be too hot to wear. They hang down a bit around the legs and have loose-cuffed sleeves.

All the choices of clothing listed above are great alternatives to crop tops or skin-tight jeans. Although they may be considered as “lazy outfits,” they can be paired with the right items to look more put together.
