The audience erupted in cheers as Ma made his way to the stage to share a few heartfelt words of encouragement.
Following the announcement, Activities Director Ms. Stefani Spitz briefed students on the lineup of senior events planned for the week of May 27. The schedule includes Senior Movie Night on Tuesday, Senior Sunset on Wednesday, College and Career Chalk Day and the Senior Awards Ceremony on Thursday, and finally, the Senior Talent Show followed by the Grad Run on Friday.
Ms. Spitz also introduced the speakers for this year’s Baccalaureate: Emily Chien and Nathan Chang. The crowd applauded as the two students stood to be recognized.
Lastly, Ms. Spitz reminded seniors to complete any necessary contracts required for graduation and diploma pick-up and to return textbooks and chromebooks by May 30. As the seniors departed the PAC, they carried with them a sense of excitement, nostalgia, and anticipation for the memorable days ahead.
