IKEA Opening at the Shops at Santa Anita

IKEA Opening at the Shops at Santa Anita

IKEA has officially opened its newest store in the Shops at Santa Anita, adding to the brand’s growing presence in the region. As Swedish retail brings its wide range of affordable, yet stylish products and furniture, the new location promises convenience.

The new IKEA store in Arcadia will feature the brand’s signature layout, offering a wide range of products from furniture and home accessories to kitchenware and textiles. Shoppers can expect the familiar IKEA experience, complete with fully furnished room displays that provide inspiration for every corner of the home.

For example, a cozy, inviting living room features a comfortable sofa, coffee table, stylish lamps, and much more, all in neutral tones with pops of color. Along with that, a niche minimalistic bedroom can also be a choice, with low-profile bed frames, light wood touches, and simple decoration.

In addition to its extensive product offerings, the Arcadia IKEA will emphasize sustainability to reflect the company’s commitment to environmentally friendly practices. The store will feature energy-efficient lighting, recycling stations, and a range of eco-friendly products designed to help customers live more sustainably.

From the BILLY series, a bookcase which is made with 100% FSC- certified wood, is ensured to come from replenished forests. IKEA also has a RAVAROR collection, which uses a blend of upcycled materials to create durable and stylish furniture. Combining quality ingredients like wood, steel, denim, and wool, it can become very high-quality and multi-functional.

Sophomore Isla Crawford has some great input into IKEA’s new opening at the mall.

“I’m honestly so glad that IKEA has opened in the mall because in addition to IKEA being my favorite furniture store, now I can easily access one that is actually nearby!” she said.

“I love that I can find things that look great, are affordable, and eco-friendly. It’s such a fun place to shop at, especially with the room displays that give me so much room-inspiration,” Crawford added.

Along with Crawford’s optimism about the store, sophomore Stella Wang cannot bear to not mention the way IKEA styles their furniture.

“I’m obsessed with how stylish yet comfortable the furniture is here. Every corner of the store catches my eye, from the cozy throw-on pillows to the adorable little side tables, it’s almost like walking through a real-life Pinterest board. I could spend hours brainstorming my future house here.”

The opening of IKEA in Arcadia marks a significant expansion of the brand’s presence in the region. In addition to the sustainable, fashionable, and affordable furniture, it is also expected to create numerous job opportunities for the local community, from retail and customer service roles to positions in logistics and management. Even Crawford and Wang are ecstatic about the opening. Whether you’re looking to buy furniture for your house or just giving the store a look, your presence can help further integrate the brand into the community.
