With the year flying by and one semester nearly over, seniors got together on Dec. 6 to enjoy their first senior bonding event of the year, Frozen in Time.
The Rally Court buzzed with excitement as the Arcadia High School Class of 2025 came together to celebrate their final year and create lasting memories. The event, starting at 4 p.m. and ending at 5:30 p.m, offered a variety of festive activities and treats for everyone to enjoy. Students sipped on hot cocoa and munched on candy canes, while DIY reindeer brownies and snow globes added a creative touch to the festivities. The Filipino Culture Club contributed to the festivities, serving halo halo—a delicious cold dessert with fruit, ice cream, and even gummy candies.
The Rally Court was packed with seniors hoping to make the most of their last year, and the variety of activities kept students engaged throughout the event.
“The event was fun,” senior Emma Ma. “I wish there was pickleball or some other physical activity, but I really enjoyed decorating snow globes while hanging out with friends. We even got to check out the Filipino club stand; I got the dessert and it was really good.”
Echoing the lively atmosphere, senior Annika Chan shared a similar enthusiasm.
“I really enjoyed making snow globes,” said senior Annika Chan. “I admit, I don’t usually go to socials, but I hope to go to as many as possible this year with my friends since it’s senior year!”
“My friends and I got hot chocolate and brownies, pretzels, and M&M’s to make reindeer brownies,” said Chan. “There was so much to do, and it was hard to be bored.”
The joy of the day wasn’t just limited to the activities; the sense of unity and nostalgia brought a warmth to the chilly December afternoon. As the end of the year approached, many seniors felt significance in moments such as these, recognizing that there wasn’t much time before they were off to college.
For many students, this event was a welcome break from the pressures of college applications, finals, and thoughts about the future. Laughter echoed through the Rally Court, and memories were captured in photos and handmade crafts.
This first senior bonding event of the year sets the tone for the months ahead, and the Class of 2025 is ready to make their final year unforgettable.
