Netflix Shows You Should’ve Already Watched
September 29, 2017
We all have that one friend who just isn’t caught up in the latest drama: they’re awkwardly nodding on the side as everyone else discusses how controversial it was when they killed off a certain someone on Grey’s Anatomy. Don’t let that one friend be you! These Netflix necessities will save you the next time your friends are shipping Oliver and Connor or complaining about Bughead.
13 Reasons Why
This show was one of the biggest hits this year. The main character, Hannah Baker, committed suicide and now her memory is reflected in the thoughts and actions of her classmates and “friends”. She is one controversial girl; we just can’t tell if we love, hate, or feel bad for her. This addicting show only has one season at the moment, but it’ll leave you wanting more.
Gossip Girl
Spotted─ A clueless little puppy about to enter the crazy world of the Upper East Side. Better buckle up because it’s going to be a bumpy ride!
XOXO, Gossip Girl
Friends
I’ll be there for you… if you sing “Smelly Cat” with me.
How I Met Your Mother
If you’re looking for some laughs HIMYM is perfect. You’ll be hoping Ted and Robin end up together at least once after the first few episodes…
Grey’s Anatomy
The life of Meredith Grey may somewhat resemble the life of an Arcadia student: just barely trying to hold it together when your best friend is an overachiever and when nothing seems to be going your way, you just have to let it all out and dance around in your living room. This show is a MUST. *WARNING: Don’t get too emotionally attached to characters*
How To Get Away With Murder
First of all, this show will probably make you reconsider a career in law. Second, Oliver is such an amazing character oh my gosh. Third, you’ll hate so many characters but you won’t be able to stop watching them because this show is pretty addicting.
Criminal Minds
Criminal Minds is probably one of the most popular crime shows around. No matter how crazy or realistic the murders are, the characters will get you so attached it’s impossible to not want to binge all 11 seasons. *Always have tissues on hand just in case. Also, you probably shouldn’t watch this unless someone is home with you.*
The Flash
Barry Allen is definitely one of the dreamiest heroes out there. The fastest man alive is a fun, dorky, and loving guy whose charming smile will keep you completely occupied.
The Arrow
If you’re going to watch The Flash, you might as well watch The Arrow too! They have multiple cross-over episodes which make the shows even more interesting. Grab some popcorn and sit back as Oliver Queen attempts to save Starling City.
Jane the Virgin
This telenovela is quirky and fun. You’ll wish you were Jane because she’s got two pretty cute guys fighting over her… does she pick the sweet cop or handsome millionaire? You’ll have to watch to find out!
Riverdale
Riverdale was definitely one of the most talked about shows this year; when it was added to Netflix, the world got about 100 times better. Based on the classic Archie Comics, this spinoff will keep you wanting more after every episode. If the show isn’t interesting enough for you, Cole Sprouse will be more than enough.
Vampire Diaries
It all started with Elena Gilbert, just an average teenage girl living in the small town of Mystic Falls. She never expected to fall in love with a vampire or cross tracks with werewolves and witches, but the world never expected to fall in love with this show… so anything can happen.
Stranger Things
Everyone fell in love with Eleven when the show first came out. This science fiction hit is about a young group of boys who just about never believed they’d be friends with a psychokinetic girl. Sit back and travel back to 1980 Hawkins, Indiana.
