The Arcadia High School (AHS) Varsity Baseball team faced off against the El Camino Real Baseball team on Mar. 16. The game was live-streamed by Apache News. Although the game did contain some pretty impressive plays, AHS lost 2-3.

“I thought this was a good game. There were some impressive plays,” stated junior Ruth Guracha.

After having no wins this season, the AHS team knew that they had great pressure on them for this game. The score was tied 2-2 until the 7th inning, but both teams failed to secure points during this time and in future innings. After adding and playing extra innings, the El Camino Real Royals managed to gain one point for their win, leaching the AHS Varsity Baseball team with their fourth loss of the season.

Both teams made some good plays, but the El Camino Real Royals ended up taking home the win. We wish the Varsity Baseball team the best of luck for the rest of their season!
