Are you ready for Easter treats? Here is a great new recipe to try out―Easter themed cupcakes. Easter themed cupcakes are so incredibly easy to recreate, just if you know how to read and follow the listed directions. All you will need for this recipe will be:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon fine salt
2 large eggs, at room temperature
2/3 cup sugar
1 1/2 sticks (12 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
Then have 12-cup standard sized muffin containers or 24-cup mini muffin cupcake liners. Before baking, make sure that you preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line the cupcake tins into the pan. Once that is all set, whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt altogether. In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar for about two minutes, until the texture is light and foamy. As you are beating the eggs, slowly pour in the melted butter and vanilla extract. While mixing it slowly, add in half of the flour mixture and then the milk, followed with the remainder of the flour mixture. Keep in mind that you do not over mix the batter and carefully divide the batter evenly into the prepared muffin pan. Add in about a tablespoon or more of the complete batter into each of the cupcake holders and finish off the cupcakes by placing it into the oven for about 18 to 20 minutes for standard cupcake tins, and 10 to 20 minutes for the mini cupcake tins. Finally, let them cool on a rack and finish it off with frosting or any other decorative candies or chocolates. If you want to jazz up the decoration to make it Easter themed, you can use giant jelly beans as the Easter eggs and shredded chocolate pieces on top to make the nest to create your creative Easter themed cupcake.
